Description:

Core segmentation with resize2fs

With Live CD ArchLinux 9.3.2016

Success with :
resize2fs -p /dev/vg_archie/lvhome

but it fails with :
resize2fs -p /dev/vg_archie/lvroot

The last leads to "<not the same number> core segmentation"

Both are after :

e2fsck -f /dev/vg_archie/lv<root or home>

What is "Live CD ArchLinux 9.3.2016"? What version of e2fsprogs is this? Are the filesystems mounted?
