DetailsDescription:
"pacman -Rsn mariadb" does not remove all relevant/expected files. Additional info: * package version(s) mariadb-10.1.18-1 * config and/or log files etc. - Steps to reproduce: Install maraidb, go through all recommended steps listed at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MySQL, make some databases. Remove mariadb using "pacman -Rsn mariadb", I would expect this would remove all traces of MariaDB but when I reinstall (pacman -S mariadb) my mariadb root password is unchanged and I find back all my databases. I would expect the package to be cleanly installed. |
