Details

Building this package requires building three other packages as well: glslang, SPIRV-Tools and SPIRV-Headers, using specific commit revision snapshots. The revision number for each repository is specified in files named <repo-name>_revision in the root of the Vulkan-LoaderAndValidationLayers repository.

The commits that are currently specified in the PKGBUILD are outdated. (as of 1.0.30.0-1)

The required revisions change on almost every version update, so it's a good idea to review them when updating the version of the package.
