one of libwbclient-4.5.1-1 smbclient-4.5.1-1 samba-4.5.1-1 breaks dns resolving in console (konsole, vtys), firefox works. $ LANG=en_US ping google.pl ping: google.pl: System error $ ssh my@domain ssh: Could not resolve hostname domain: System error Additional info: * package version(s) libwbclient-4.5.1-1 smbclient-4.5.1-1 samba-4.5.1-1 downgrading to 4.5.0-2 resolves that issue. * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: update packages to libwbclient-4.5.1-1 smbclient-4.5.1-1 samba-4.5.1-1 try to ping something, ssh, or run pacman update |
