Description: I recently updated xfce4-terminal from version 0.6.3-3 to 0.8.0-2 on my IBM X41 notebook (x86). I use the default Adwaita theme, i.e. light grey colours. With the update, the terminal now appears in a dark theme only, i.e. almost black background of menus and input windows. After downgrade back to 0.6.3-3 everything is back to normal, i.e. light grey menus like in all other applications (as far as I can see).

Steps to reproduce:
1) Use Adwaita theme, light colours
2) update xfce4-terminal to latest version 0.8.0-2
3) start xfce4-terminal

Set your GTK3 theme

The GTK3 theme is set to "Adwaita". I just checked with lxappearance. But also the window of lxappearance is being rendered in the dark theme. There is also no difference between "Adwaita" and "Adwaita-dark".

I created the following "settings.ini" file in ~/.config/gtk-3.0 and /etc/gtk-3.0.

[Settings]
gtk-icon-theme-name = Vibrancy-Light-Orange
gtk-theme-name = Adwaita
gtk-font-name = Liberation Sans 9

Now it works. Thanks for your assistance.
