Description:
I have lvm raid1 devices which dissapeared after 4.8.x update, downgrading kernel to 4.7.x makes them work.
There is a patch but not pushed to 4.8.x

Steps to reproduce:
1. fresh install with 2016.10.01 iso with 4.7.5 kernel
2. make root on lvm raid1
3. unable to boot/find root device

Same bug for me. Do you think it will be added in 4.8.4?

Due to there is an existing patch, why this patch is not applied by Arch devs on -ARCH? :x

Still not fixed in Linux 4.8.4.

Unfortunately it looks like this will be fixed in 4.9
