DetailsDescription:
Performed a complete update (via pacman -Syu) which included an upgrade of netcdf from 4.4.1rc1-1 to 4.4.1-1 and now ffmpeg, mpv and other binaries are complaining of a missing libnetcdf.so.12 dependency. Also of note is that an mpv upgrade occurred at the same time, but ffmpeg was not updated. mpv was working (and was still running) during the upgrade, but post upgrade fails. Investigating, netcdf-4.4.1 includes libnetcdf.so.11 whereas the previous version (4.4.1rc1) included libnetcdf.so.12. Not sure why the final release reverted the versioning bump. Additional info: * netcdf-4.4.1-1 contains libnetcdf.so.11 * netcdf-4.4.1rc1-1 contains libnetcdf.so.12 Steps to reproduce: * install netcdf-4.4.1-1 package * try to run any app which uses netcdf (eg. ffmpeg and mpv) will get shared lib missing error * revert to 4.4.1rc1-1 and apps work again. |
