Now that Plasma 5.8 has been released it would be nice if this LTS release could be kept as a separate package (e.g. plasma-lts) once the next major version will be released. The development pace of Plasma and KDE in general is quite high and I bet there are plenty of users who demand a more stable KDE desktop.
