Description:
Screen redraw failure with compiz-0.8.12/ emerald 0.8.12.4-2, and caja-gtk3 for gtk3-3.22. See upstream https://github.com/compiz-reloaded/compiz/issues/40. Obviously, upstream is aware. However, when caja-gtk3 1.16.0-3 PKGBUILD is used to build caja-gtk3 with older gtk3-3.20.9-1-x86_64 on my system, this bug does not occur, even when subsequently upgrading gtk3 to 3.22.0-1-x86_64. For some reason, building caja-gtk3-1.16 with gtk3-3.20 prevents this bug from occuring in gtk3-3.22. Additional info: linux-4.7.6-1-x86_64 nvidia 370.28-1 mate-desktop-gtk3-1.16.0-1-x86_64 caja-gtk3-1.16.0-3-x86_64 compiz-gtk 0.8.12.3-3 (AUR) emerald-0.8.12.4-2 (AUR) Steps to reproduce: Always happens when above packages installed with pacman on my system. Steps to prevent, or as an aid to figuring this out, see above. |

Sorry, but Compiz is in AUR, therefore unsupported. If MATE
developers provide a patch, then we can apply it. Otherwise we
cannot do anything, so I'm closing this task.
