Description:
Module r8168 with kernel 4.8.1 starts connections and loses it. Once there was kernel panic. Ping command to any server hangs about several seconds with error about buffer. Additional info: * r8168 8.043.01-1 (testing) * kernel 4.8.1 (testing) Hardware info: lspci -k -s 05:00.0 05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. On my test machine it seems to be working fine.
Thanks for checking report. I will test future versions of drivers and kernels.
