Description:

`redshift-gtk` doesn't appear in the tray icon; and at the boot, when the gnome-shell loads, I get this error: ERROR: randr set crtc gamma 148

`redshift` doesn't work even if I launch from terminal; if I launch with the verbose switch, I can see redshift that decreases temperature, but nothing happens.

I noticed the problem with latest upgrade where I updated to latest gnome

Additional info:
* latest software from official repos and Gnome 3.22
* I opened a bug in the official bugtracker: https://github.com/jonls/redshift/issues/380

EDIT: yes... I was using Wayland

Reading our wiki I noticed that now Wayland is the default.
I switched back to Xorg and now it's ok!

sorry, it was a fault of mine
