Description:
Since GNOME 3.22, adwaita-icon-theme makedepends on gtk3

As a result, icon theme is built with gtk-encode-symbolic-svg like on Fedora.

But this output black symbolic png files not working with dark themes...

Please revert this.

This is a bug in GTK3, from the documentation: "GTK+ can load and recolor these pngs, just like original svgs, but loading them is much faster"

Looking at your screenshot, the recoloring is not done.
