Details1.0-8762 for x86-64/em64t and x86 updates (06-26-2006):
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=72488 Please add this patch. |
This task depends upon
it'll be added when 2.6.18 comes official
This is cumulative patch that fixes some problems in original 1.0-8762:
1) fixes compile failures with errors ... when building the 1.0-8762 NVIDIA kernel module against recent Linux kernels (Linux >= 2.6.17-rc4-mm1, Linux >= 2.6.17-git7)
2) fixes a conftest.sh compatibility problem introduced with the linux/utsrelease.h kernel header file in Linux 2.6.18 pre-release kernels (Linux >= 2.6.18-rc1)
See the above link to Nvidia's forum for more details.
I don't see it in CVS and PKGBUILD does not apply any patches at all. Maybe it is already included in updated 1.0-8762 on Nvidia's site. :-/
