When i log in my desktop is flickering a lot. It is completely unsusable for me.

I didn't know where to search for this type of problem (which component - package) or if it can be logged somehow. A generic instruction on how to report a bug didn't help either. I managed to figure out what was going on. On System Settings -> Hardware -> View and Monitor -> Compositor i have as default the output module option of "OpenGL 2.0". When i changed that to XRender, flickering stopped. Also if i also change the VSync option to "fullscreen repaints" and have "OpenGL 2.0" it also works.
