This task depends upon
as for the provides, some packages may depend explicitly on kernel26 - as it was the only kernel at once stage - as well as many poorly written module PKGBUILDs. So it needs to provide it.
tiacx-beyond and rt2500-beyond in unstable are still from 2.6.16 days.
