what program and hooks have you used?

I'm using arch-ftp-install as opposed to arch-base-install, because I've got a rather small USB stick and FTP installs make it easier to stay up to date.

As for the error... It happens during the installation of packages (not the downloading). Basically the UI prints out "Installing packages FAILED", and a black space appears displaying "line 470: " followed by sed and a huge string of arguments that I can neither comprehend nor remember. After this the script exits to the command line, although its UI (with the black space containing the "line 470 message) is still visible as an artifact.

Uh, just FWIW this was with 0.3.3. Haven't tried it with 0.3.4.

do you install full or only base?

Base plus various packages that I'd selected manually, via the arch-ftp-install hook.
