DetailsThere's a small error in the libpng PKGBUILD file.
The line make -f makefile.std png2pnm pnm2png is supposed to link the two programs against -lpng in the top source directory (../..). However, libpng doesn't create libpng.so etc. in the source directory. The result is that png2pnm and pnm2png link against the system libpng if it is installed, and the build fails otherwise. A solution is to replace it with the following: make PNGLIB="-L$startdir/pkg/usr/lib -lpng" -f makefile.std png2pnm pnm2png |
