Description: After gtk 3.22 landing on testing, I noticed Appearances settings were broken, at least backgrounds settings. I clicked on a wallpaper to change it, without luck.

I "fixed" this bug by building full mate-gtk3 against new gtk3 version. Maybe rebuilding mate-control-center will fix this ? At least, a full rebuild will be needed when gnome 3.22 and gtk 3.22 land in extra, or am I wrong ?

Additional info:

mate-control-center-gtk3 : 1.16.0-1
gtk3 : 3.22.0+29+gfa23641-1

Steps to reproduce:

1) Install archlinux with mate-gtk3
2) Enable testing repositories
3) Upgrade everything
4) Launch Mate-gtk3
5) Open control center and go to appearance settings. Try to modify wallpaper.

It was a bug in caja:
https://github.com/mate-desktop/caja/issues/604

A simple rebuild of caja-gtk3 and mate-settings-daemon-gtk3 should be enough. I'm going to do this now.
