This is not an easy task. It requires huge file renaming and you have to deal with loading proper libraries from the desired version.

It would break anything from KISS build that's left. Upstream has something similar so you can install stable and devel versions along each other. But afaik not for -still and stable.

What's the reason to have them installed both at once? You can pretty quick uninstall one and install the other version if you have a bug or want
to check compatibility.

So going to close this one "won't implement".
