Description:
After recent kernel updates my laptop refuses to shutdown properly and has to be shutdown by physically pressing the shutdown button, *each and every time*, when docked (see info below). This behavior was happening with previous kernel versions as well, but it seems it became a constant thing after the newest update.

Possibly related to  FS#50858 .

Steps to reproduce:
Perform regular shutdown (though the Gnome3 shutdown button).
