Details
Emacs 25 has a new configure option --with-gameuser, which
will set the owner/group of /var/games/emacs/. This will
simplify the package() function.
Add `--with-gameuser=:games` to the configure command. Remove ``` chmod 775 "$pkgdir"/var/games/emacs chmod 664 "$pkgdir"/var/games/emacs/* chown -R root:games "$pkgdir"/var/games ``` from the package() function (but keep the `chmod 775 /var/games`). See https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=emacs-lucid. The blank score files are still owned by root:root, but the update script is SETGID so it can still update the score files. |
