DetailsAlsa is able to see and use multiple audio-outs in terminal mode, but when I switch to my desktop (with xinit or Ctr+Alt+F2) all audio stops and no devices are visible with "aplay -l".
No alterations to Alsa's configs Kernel= 4.7.2.1 Desktop= Cinnamon I'm not sure what else to include, I thought it was a driver issue until I switched to terminal mode and was blasted with music... Now I'm just confused. |
This task depends upon
Cinnamon has a sound applet, the applet regularly showns "Dummy Output" as the only available output. But occasionally it will show my headset, though it still doesn't play sounds through it.
