Are you currently on 4.4.14-1-lts or is that what you updated from? core/linux-lts is at 4.4.20-1.

What error does pacman give you?

What "xen-tools" package are you talking about, and how is this something we are responsible for? The xen-tools package from xen-tools.org is built for Debian, and we do not ship xen in the repositories.

On my vm the following packages were presents:
community/xe-guest-utilities 6.2.0-2 [installed]
Citrix XenServer Tools
community/xenstore 6.2.0-2 [installed]
Citrix XenServer Tools

After the pacman -Syu from the xencenter, inspecting the vm I see that the packages are not installed.
You can see the screenshosts.

I tried to remove and install the packages but nothing changed.
During the pacman update no errors have been catched.

Could you point to the instructions you are following?
Not familiar with xen, myself. Perhaps the VM needs a reboot?
Comment by Nicola (okuto3) - Wednesday, 14 September 2016, 13:42 GMT
After pacman -Syu, the vm has been rebooted.
As showed into the xen2.png, you can see that the xen tools result not installed but if I excute the command pacsearch xen, the packages are listed as installed

What told you to install those packages? I'm thinking there may be more steps involved.

Here you can find the doc about xenserver tools.
https://docs.citrix.com/fr-fr/xencenter/6-5/xs-xc-vms-configuring/xs-xc-vms-installtools.html

Before the xenserver 6.5 relase, the packages presents on the community repo:
x86_64 Community xe-guest-utilities 6.2.0-2 Citrix XenServer Tools 2014-08-03 2016-05-30
x86_64 Community xenstore 6.2.0-2 Citrix XenServer Tools

could be installed without problem.

So this is just about them being out of date. They're already marked.
