Directory /media is missing from /filesystem package. It should be included for FSH compliance, which Arch is supposed to follow.

Futher /media is indeed in udisks package, but this is now deprecated and replaced with udisks2, which does not contain /media.

Nobody cares about FSH

Fun fact: we used to have /media in the filesystem package:

https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/filesystem&id=c6c925466eadcf7b6dcb425ed8e2f8685088d6f8

If the deprecated udisks1 is the only package to use this directory, and provides it, what's the benefit in moving this into a common location? Strict FHS adherence isn't necessarily a goal of Arch (we've violated it before, and we'll violate it again).

However, udisks1 is now deprecated according to the wiki (replaced with udisks2, whih does not provide /media) and the wiki says Arch is FSH compliant.

The wiki is wrong -- we've been out of compliance with FHS since we made /bin, /sbin and /usr/sbin into symlinks pointing at /usr/bin (and similarly for /lib, /lib64).

edit: and note that udisks1 was already deprecated nearly 4 years ago when we moved /media to that package.
