DetailsHi there!
I was started a huge Syu, after about two months. The update was huge, about 2.2G of installed size. After a reboot cycle, my distro is malfunctioning. When a new kernel boots for the first time, it performs an fsck on the root fs. I've seen many, literally hundrends of errors during fsck. I've seen many fresh kernel boots, but this one scared me. - tty login: pidof: error while loading shared libraries: libprocps.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory - xfce4-terminal: the same with libvte.so.9 - gsmartcontrol: missing libpangomm-1.4.so.1 - nm-applet: also looking for libnma.so.0, than libnm.so.0 Reistalling nm-connection-editor, what contains nm-applet's missing library, I've got the following errors: error: could not get file information for usr/lib/libnm-gtk.so error: could not get file information for usr/lib/libnm-gtk.so.0 error: could not get file information for usr/lib/libnm-gtk.so.0.0.0 error: could not get file information for usr/lib/libnma.so error: could not get file information for usr/lib/libnma.so.0 error: could not get file information for usr/lib/libnma.so.0.0.0 error: could not get file information for usr/share/gir-1.0/NMA-1.0.gir error: could not get file information for usr/share/gir-1.0/NMGtk-1.0.gir error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/bg/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/el/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/eu/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/gl/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/pt_BR/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/sk/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/sv/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/ug/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo error: could not get file information for usr/share/locale/zh_CN/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo :: Processing package changes... I thought the F2FS and Sandforce combination is not so good, because SF uses compression. I've got a HyperX 3K, but never experienced this kind of real or putative corruption before. The drive's SMART and the W7 on other partition seems ok. |
