Description:

sway aborts during startup with the following message, when I try to run it from lightdm. Setting the suid flag on /usr/bin/sway fixes the problem.

[wlc] Not running from X11 and no access to /dev/input/event0 or logind unavailable

Additional info:

Steps to reproduce:

Run the included wayland session (/usr/share/wayland-sessions/sway.desktop) as normal user via lightdm.

This sounds more like a DM issue to me
