Several security issues including buffer overflows have been fixed in imagemagick 6.9.5-8 [1]. The package has already been flagged a while ago to request an upgrade to the 7.x branch, but it would be nice if it could be upgraded to 6.9.5-8 in the meantime. Thanks!
