DetailsInstalled kde using pacman -S kde. Control Center/Sound & Multimedia/Sound System/Hardware/Select Device had no options in it as the package had not installed esd(Enlightened Sound Daemon). This Option is essential in kde to get alsa working correctly.
The package was working a few days ago so if no changes have been made to the KDE group then it may be a problem with pacman. |
This task depends upon
kdelibs was updated by me .. so pacman has nothing to do with it, i think
--without-esd is missing in kdelibs i think ... will check that asap
i can add esd as dependence, but dont see the reason for real
what versions of kde do you use?
pacman -Q kdelibs
pacman -Q kdemultimedia
pacman -Q kdebase
you did not compile it yourself, right?
i rebuilt
kdelibs, kdepim 9days ago
kdebase 6days ago
kdegraphics yesterday
(all because for bugfixes) ... but never changed anything on kdemultimedia
