What do you mean by virtualgl? What's the fix then?

I don't understand too...
virtual is not installed on my computer but still have the problem ; do I need to install virtualgl ?

I also suggest to stick to officially released versions from nVidia. 267.35 works very well, but there is no package for 267.44 (yet).

Please try 370.28.
Comment by Pete (petejones) - Thursday, 08 September 2016, 18:29 GMT
370.28 unfortunately didn't solve the error for me.

Same here...

P.S. IMHO 367.44 version should be nvidia-360xx (and nvidia too) package... Any above is beta for now. Why this is not so?
P.S.S. Are we sure that this is GTX 460 problem? Maybe this is not driver bug, but VBIOS? I have Gigabyte GV-N460OC-1GI (BIOS: 70.04.13.00.01, PCI ID: 10DE-0E22, Subsystem ID: 1458-34FC, Sign-On Message : GV-N460OC-1GI/F3)

370.28 also did not solve the problem for me. Per a suggestion from the nvidia thread, I'm going to downgrade to 340xx.

I have edited the PKGBUILD files and installed 367.44.
Everything works on my fermi card on this version apart from VDPAU.

367.44 package works, not 370 :-(

The only issue is that xorg-server 1.19 is going to be released in a month or two which will require a 370.xx driver unless nvidia extends the 367.xx branch.

Still nothing ? Is it a nvidia problem ? A X11 problem ? A kernel problem ? Any date for the update ?
Comment by Hussam Al-Tayeb (hussam) - Monday, 03 October 2016, 11:05 GMT
Nvidia posted on their forums that one of their engineers reproduced the problem and is working on a fix.

I believe there is little reason to track the bug here at this point. We now know that this is an upstream problem and I will close it as such. Please direct any further information directly at nvidia upstream.
