Description:
After updating packages from testing, now a few (indirect) kmail dependencies conflict with kio-pim, which is also a kmail dependency. So the package cannot be installed with [testing] enabled. I'm not sure if it's kmail, kio-pim, or the newer [testing] packages that need to be fixed. I just want to use kmail. Additional info: (There is no current testing/kio-pim, testing/kmail, testing/kdepim-common) extra/kmail 16.04.3-1 Depends On: kdepim-common kontactinterface kio-pim libksieve kdepim-addons extra/kdepim-common 16.04.3-1 Depends On: incidenceeditor mailcommon kdepim-runtime kdnssd libktnef testing/kdepim-runtime 16.08.0-1 testing/kldap 16.08.0-1 testing/libksieve 16.08.0-1 Conflicts With: kio-pim Steps to reproduce: With [testing] enabled, if kmail is current installed, upgrading all packages will fail due to unsatisfiable dependencies. If kmail isn't current installed, installing it will fail due to unsatisfiable dependencies. sudo pacman -S kmail resolving dependencies... looking for conflicting packages... :: kio-pim and kdepim-runtime are in conflict. Remove kdepim-runtime? [y/N] y :: kio-pim and kldap are in conflict. Remove kldap? [y/N] y :: kio-pim and libksieve are in conflict. Remove libksieve? [y/N] y error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies) :: kmail: requires libksieve :: kio-pim: requires kldap :: kdepim-common: removing kdepim-runtime breaks dependency 'kdepim-runtime' :: libkdepim: removing kldap breaks dependency 'kldap' |

Looks like you caught things mid-upgrade. Try again.
