Description:
When launching oolite, it creates ~/.Oolite and ~/GNUstep directories, then it hangs. No errors and no log in ~/.Oolite/Logs

The same thing happened with oolite 1.82 after the last gnustep update.

Additional info:
* package version(s): oolite 1.84-1
* starting from a clean config and no logs created by oolite

Note: downgrading gnustep-base to 1.24.8-3 makes it work.

Looks like in upstream they have found a fix that worked on Debian. They are asking for a confirm. Could you try it? https://github.com/OoliteProject/oolite/issues/202

I have rebuilt the oolite 1.84-1 with the patch from the upstream and can confirm that it solves the issue. Patch attached.

I suggest carrying this patch as an interim solution and releasing a bugfix release of oolite. The upstream has already merged the fix for the next upstream release.
