Kernel: Linux hammer 4.7.0-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Aug 8 22:05:58 CEST 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Gnome Shell: extra/gnome-shell 3.20.3-1 (gnome)
GDM: extra/gdm 3.20.1-2 (gnome)
Video drv: extra/xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+691+ga77397a-1 (xorg-drivers xorg)

Steps to reproduce:
After lates update yesterday I get black screen after boot. Nothing appeared. I try to remove all configurations in X11/xorg.conf.d but no success to get user login screen. The only one I saw is that screen saver is working because agter 5 minutes it turns off backlight.

My laptop uses integrated GPU:

Hi Team,

I downgrade kernel to previous version 4.6.4-1 and everything appeared on screen. It looks that the issue is with kernel-4.7-1

Best Regards,
Alex

I cannot reproduce the issue. Furthermore it looks like a kernel issue, not a gnome one.
Can we close this bug report?

I guess it can be closed. The reporter does not seem to be active anymore.
