Details

The mod_cache is no longer experimental in 2.2 series. We use it as backend accelerator for python app servers. What about to add --enable-cache --enable-disk-cache --enable-mem-cache do configure args ? There is no need for other changes (maybe add commented-out lines
#LoadModule cache_module lib/apache/mod_cache.so
#LoadModule disk_cache_module lib/apache/mod_disk_cache.so
#LoadModule mem_cache_module lib/apache/mod_mem_cache.so
to httpd.conf).
