Description: I tried to install mate-gtk3 on an archlinux
within a VirtualBox machine.
I noticed clock applet was missing from top level panel. I tried to launch it from terminal, and I got this error : [fred@fredo-archlinux ~]$ /usr/lib/mate-panel/clock-applet (clock-applet:1401): Gtk-ERROR **: GTK+ 2.x symbols detected. Using GTK+ 2.x and GTK+ 3 in the same process is not supported Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) Additional info: mate-panel-gtk3-1.14.0-1 Steps to reproduce: Just install mate-gtk3 from community testing, launch it, and try to run clock applet. |

Edit : I can reproduce it on a freshly installed archlinux in VirtualBox. Ouch :(
Edit 2 : I noticed mate-panel is related to 2 others mate package : mate-desktop and libmate-weather. Both get --disable-static option removed. I wonder what will happen if I build these three packages adding back --disable-static... Maybe it will fix this bug ?
