biblatex-trad package is still old version and not compatible with the new version of biblatex. compare files in /usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/biblatex-trad/bbx/ and http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/biblatex-contrib/biblatex-trad and you will see the differences. Additional info: * package version(s): texlive-bibtexextra 2016.41470-2 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: write a .tex file with \usepackage[backend=biber,bibstyle=trad-abbrv]{biblatex} and \addbibresource{example.bib} in the preamble and \printbibliography in the text; then compile the file to the end. |
