Description:

Libreoffice no longer shows an appropriate splash screen when launching. Instead of the Libreoffice splash screen there is a small white box which appears for a second or two before the program launches. The white box contains no coloration or text and appears only some of the times the program is launched, perhaps more frequently after the machine is restarted. I'm not sure if this is a bug or an intentional change with the new version.

Additional info:
* package version(s) : 5.2.0-2
* config and/or log files etc.

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  User requested: I dug into this a little on my own. There was an option in "/etc/libreoffice/sofficerc" which got set causing the splash to be disabled. I did not merge any new config files and did not think this file should be changed otherwise so how the option was set is still a bit of a mystery. Regardless, after making some changes to it manually the problem seems to be fixed.

FWIW, the splash screen works just fine here.
