DetailsStable MAME versions since 0.174 have a crashing bug when compiled with GCC 6, see https://github.com/mamedev/mame/issues/1183 for details.
The suggested fix is to add "ARCHOPTS=-flifetime-dse=1" to the make flags. This issue might be resolved in the latest MAME git version (not confirmed by me though), but at least 0.176 on 64 bit is definitely affected. |
