Details

After upgrading to cpupower 4.7-1 the cpu frequency cannot be set constant. After running the command, for example,

cpupower frequency-set -f 500MHz

no output is given (normally output notifies on setting each cpu). Downgrading to version 4.6-4 solves the problem.

Processor: Intel-M (M-5Y71), intel_pstate drive is disabled.

Following the upgrade, running the command `cpupower frequency-set -g performance` as root also shows no output. Governor flag no longer changes current policy.
Command 'cpupower frequency-info' outputs normally.
