Description:

Main icons in the task bar not found: they are shipped only in svg but should be shipped in png as well.

The bug was opened upstream but the maintainer said it was a package issue. See here:

Sounds like an environmental issue. What "taskbar"?

I'm using Plasma 5, I meant the task manager. I asked the plasma dev, and they redirected me to those 2 info:

[1] http://lists-archives.com/kde-devel/34062-how-to-properly-install-app-icons.html
[2] https://specifications.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-latest.html#directory_layout

which basically say that it should be shipped in png, and that the png files are used, not svg... Adding the png files solved the issue.

Which should be done upstream. If "make install" doesn't install them, that's an upstream issue.
