They fixed it upstream. I meant to test it before pinging you but I haven't been able to find the time to do so.

Also, is there any information regarding the versioning scheme used? Is seems like upstream has only released 6.1.0 and as you guys switched the build to use git, it became 6.1.1. Is the patch level your addition as you build the package with upstream fixes?

6.1.1 is the upstream version number for builds including fixes the release branch. 6.2.0 will be the next release from the gcc-6 branch.
