ImportError: No module named Cheetah.Template Solved by installing python2-cheetah, wich is currently a makedepends. |

But you are right in that I was trying to run gnuradio-companion without having the gnuradio-companion package installed.
gnuradio in fact owns a script /usr/bin/gnuradio-companion that you can launch with python2-cheetah installed.
