Description:

After a pacman update, I automatically have a white screen when trying to login to my kde plasma desktop.
I'm using greeter-session=lightdm-webkit2-greeter and had previously set the webkit-theme set to antergos, after the pacman update it no longer works (--> white screen) had to change it "webkit-theme = simple"
After changing it to "simple" I can finally login with my user and password.....

The same thing also happens if I use "greeter-session=lightdm-kde-greeter" in my lightdm.conf
When being fronted with the white screen I can only change into tty's (CTRL+ALT+F2) and then manually run "startx" and my KDE plasma desktop is being loaded.

Happy to provide any log output if needed (if so, which?!)

thanks,
theresa

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  lightdm-webkit2-greeter is not supported

This problem has been discussed and effectively confirmed in this thread:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=211307

EDIT:
please suggest what to use instead, in all honesty closing a bug by saying "X is not supported." is not solving the problem for me, especially when considering I have explained my situation for using lightdm-webkit2-greeter (this is the only one that currently works for me).
Let's work towards a solution that works for me, because clearly after a pacman update on June 14th something changed that broke me configuration.
If lightdm-webkit2-greeter is not supported, then that's fine, I'm happy to change to anything that is supported and works.
