Description:
Arch Linux packaged "asciidoc" doesn't come with documentation and examples. The asciidoc website (http://www.methods.co.nz/asciidoc/userguide.html#X11) states that there should be text files and examples in the documentation directory. "Read the *.txt source files in the distribution ./doc directory along with the corresponding HTML and DocBook XML files." Additional info: * package version(s): asciidoc 8.6.9-2 Steps to reproduce: List the package content of asciidoc $ pacman -Ql asciidoc ... asciidoc /usr/share/ ... doc is missing ... asciidoc /usr/share/man/ asciidoc /usr/share/man/man1/ asciidoc /usr/share/man/man1/a2x.1.gz asciidoc /usr/share/man/man1/asciidoc.1.gz ... The documents and example files should be available and installed. "make docs" is actually provided to install the documents and examples. This may be upstream bug, since "install" target on the Makefile doesn't include "docs" target. I've patched the package() stage on PKGBUILD to install documents and examples to the appropriate directory. |
