Greetings,

Currently, the kernel shipped with Arch Linux does not enable MPX. This extension to the x86 instruction set is available in generation 6 (skylake) processors and higher (currently none on the market). I would like to be able to play with this extension without having to recompile the kernel. Although the task to recompile the kernel with the option enabled is trivial, I would like to have it officially supported. Thank you.

Cheers,
Orlando.

The GCC package supports it, but the standard kernel unfortunately does not.
CONFIG_X86_INTEL_MPX=y would be nice indeed.
