Having problem getting my laptop's wireless module to work after the latest update. I'm using iphitus beyond kernel 2.6.17-beyond. Everything worked flawlessly before the update. Now loading the ipw3945 module gives in kernel messages: ipw3945: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection ipw3945: ipw3945.ucode load failed: Reason -2 ipw3945: Could not read microcode: -2 ipw3945: probe of 0000:05:00.0 failed with error -2 ls /lib/firmware/ gives: LICENSE.ipw3945-ucode ipw3945.ucode I try reinstaling ipw3945ucode, downraging ipw3945-beyond & ipw3945d with no resault . I even tryied downraging udev, but then when i turned the laptop's wifi switch on the laptop compeletely freezed ! i had to shutdown it. I'm currently having: ipw3945-beyond 1.0.5-1 ipw3945-ucode 1.13-1 ipw3945d 1.7.18-5 udev 094-2 It's propably problem with the new udev http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=837922) |

I stil can't isolate the problem.. I'm almost 2 weeks with dead wifi, because of this problem :(
Should i try reinstall arch? :(
