Description:
This not a bug report, but i dont know where to post this request so forgive me. I use JACK as sound serveur and not Pulse Audio, and to make FF work with it i used Alsa-Plugins, which is not solid, and a custom .asoundrc. I would like to know if you can build a JACK-patched FireFox [FF will work With Alsa and PuleAudio too], regarding to those bugzilla comments: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=783733#c63 Many Thankx Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |

It's unlikely that a patch that hasn't been accepted upstream will
be applied. It's also unlikely that we'd patch in a new feature.
I don't like adding this. Upstream is concerned about maintenance
in the long run which is why they haven't applied it to any
release yet. I looked at the patch, it probably works, but it's a
massive amount of code that is touched by the patch, if upstream
can't maintain it, then some distribution packagers like us aren't
able to do so either.
