Description:

When trying to play a video file with a '#' in its name, gnome-mplayer fails with a generic error message.

Additional info:
* package version: 1.0.9-3

Steps to reproduce:
1. Rename a video file to include a '#' in it's name, ( like test#file.mkv )
2. Try to open it with gnome-mplayer
