Description:
As of today expect segfaults on exit. This is easily reproducible by starting in interactive mode and pressing Ctrl-d:

$ expect
expect1.1> [1] 17174 segmentation fault (core dumped) expect

This is caused by latest tcl/tk update from 8.6.4-1 to 8.6.5-1.

I am fairly sure expect was fine before the tcl/tk update

That's what I said. ;)
The question is whether or not this is an old bug in expect triggered by the update.

Currently bisecting tcl to get a clue what caused this.

Actually this is a tcl issue. Building tcl package reports a lot of segmentation errors during make test.
