Detailsi got on that same bug of pacman again that it won't uncompress some files... So, the problem now is that each time i try to configure a tarball the cpp test fails. Looking at the config.logs i see that some headers can't find the system "limits.h" header. In which package this exists, so i can reinstall it? Thx.

Reinstall kernel-headers and your /lib/cpp should be sane again.
