Description:
As explain here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Polkit#Authentication_agents there are multiple providers for an polkit authentication agent. I propose to add a provides line in their PKGBUILD, maybe "polkit-agent" it would ease the dependency resolution for an authentication agent. |

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: Useless: gnome-shell will not fix missing polkit-gnome on xfce for example.

What would this fix? The polkit package does provide a polkit auth
agent, and all other agent packages depend on polkit, so there
wouldn't be any difference at all between depending on
'polkit-agent' and depending on 'polkit'.
This doesn't fix anything, as the agent has to be started also.
